Student Assessment
Teachers are expected to conduct student assessments in a comprehensive, transparent, and accountable manner, encompassing multiple domains of competence including cognitive, skills, attitude, creativity, collaboration, self-reflection, and digital literacy.
Each assessment activity must be based on clear, measurable, and student-understood indicators introduced at the beginning of the learning process. This ensures that students are aware of the criteria by which they are assessed, fostering a process that is open, fair, and participatory, and providing a holistic picture of each learner’s development.
The implementation of assessment is intended not only to reflect academic outcomes but also to identify character development, critical thinking ability, creativity, and 21st-century competencies. All assessment activities are carried out in alignment with the principles of Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) and STEAM-based learning, emphasizing transparency, freedom of expression, and active student engagement in understanding and reflecting upon their own learning process.
